My Life in Writing

Literature is without a doubt mankind’s most important facet. The creation of Cuneiform and its proceeding practices could be responsible for saving society. It provides invaluable lessons from the past and insights for the future. Moreover, it has changed my life which is almost indescribable.

Since birth, my life has been intrinsically tied to the written word. The moment I could read, I thought of little else. My childhood was spent happily buried within the pages of a book. I would desperately read anything I could get my hands on. In time, I would also discover my love of writing. I have always found it easier to articulate my thoughts on the page than with my words. Moreover, I quickly learned that books can be some of the most profound teachers. For this reason, I have spent most of my life researching and novelling. These loves have encouraged me to become a man my children can easily trust and admire.

Whenever anything challenging occurred, I would escape into a book. Books have gotten me through many of the most difficult times in my life. Furthermore, it’s safe to say that prose and poetry have influenced many of my most significant achievements. Although I struggled with math, my mom bought me a book to keep me focused. While I initially couldn’t make friends, I eventually bonded with my classmates over popular novels. When I was anxious about being a father, my wife showed me an insightful book to control my feelings. Thus books have been a part of my path since the very beginning. Writing has functioned fundamentally the same for me.

Although I have always been hypercritical of my writing, it is one of my most valued pastimes. However, my criticism caused me to abandon the hobby temporarily. During this time, I felt like part of myself was missing. Thankfully, with my wife’s help, I found the confidence to pursue my passion again. Through this pursuit, I have found a Freelance writing job discussing mostly media. While my dream is to write a novel, this job has given me profound insight into the professional world. Furthermore, it has given me more confidence in my words and actions. This newfound confidence has motivated me to pursue more projects and chase my dreams.

Overall, family is the most important facet of my life. In college, I met the woman who would become my wife and was instantly set aback. One conversation with her violently deprived me of all sensibility in a way I had never experienced. We began dating and I fell madly in love. Unfortunately, I could never gain the courage to express my feelings out loud. Thankfully, my childhood passions gave me the tools to communicate my unspoken admiration. My love became my words and my words helped me make the most important promise I had ever made. That promise quickly led to marriage and the beginning of the greatest part of my life. Yet, it never could’ve happened without writing or the courage I found through reading.

Reading and writing have had a profound and invaluable impact on my life. I have ignited my thirst for knowledge and pursuit of a better life. Moreover, through writing, I accomplished some of my greatest aspirations. Yet, my biggest dream is to reignite the world’s love of the written word. I want society to become one where facts prevail and the pursuit of knowledge is truthfully commended. I wish for society to become a wonder where people help one another through their failures and successes for mankind’s benefit. This is the world I want for myself and my children.
